- A baccalaureate degree or ten (10) years of equivalent professional experience
- A minimum of three (3) years serving in a healthcare CISO or equivalent executive technology leadership role within the past six (6) years
Healthcare executives who perform CISO-level responsibilities but do not hold the formal CISO title may qualify through equivalent experience, subject to review. Equivalent experience is evaluated based on responsibilities such as:
